  • How do I know if this course is right for me? Do I have to be at a certain level with DEI to participate in the program? Many newcomers to DEI come from a variety of backgrounds. This course is for you if you are interested in learning more about how to be an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion. Practitioners who are brand new to their DEI role or aspiring to have a DEI role in the future will benefit from the foundational concepts and base level terminology including how to get started navigating their career. Individuals who are coaching, educating or consulting with others on DEI language and best practices will also benefit from this course.  
  • How much time will this course take? During this 6-week course, you should expect to spend 2-3 hours per week reviewing course content material and completing activities and assignments.  
  • Will I receive a Certificate of Completion? A Completion Certificate will be awarded for all learners who receive a Complete status on all Assignments. A Completion Certificate will be sent to you automatically at the end of the course.
  • What are the completion criteria for the course? You should complete all activities, discussion boards and assignments. In order to receive a Completion Certificate, you will need to receive a Complete status on all of your assignments.  
  • Is there an application process? There is no specific acceptance criteria or application required, but we may gather some information about you during the registration process.  
  • Is there a payment plan available? No, we are not offering a payment plan at this time.  
  • What's your refund policy? You are entitled to a full refund if you request a refund more than one month prior to the course start date. Only 50% will be refunded if you request a refund more than 2 weeks and less than one month prior to the start date. No refund will be given if requested within 2 weeks of the course start date.  
  • Do I need to buy any additional resources or materials to participate? No, everything you need will be provided.
